Are you getting plenty of visitors to your website, just no one calling or signing up?  The issue may not be getting enough traffic to your website. You should look at improving your conversion rate.

Conversion rate optimization or CRO works to get more visitors to fulfill your website goal.

This could be subscribing to your newsletter, requesting a quote or buying if yours is an e-Commerce website.

Conversion rate optimization is the process of testing and adjusting elements on your website in order to maximize your conversions.

  1. Call To Actions need to be clear, compelling and relevant to your visitor. Adjust your wording to include benefits and address their pain point.
  2. Visibility: Call to actions need to stand out and be noticed. A link alone is not usually enough. Use buttons that stand out.
  3. Placement: Place your call to actions so they can be found when people are convinced and ready to sign up. If the sales page is long, place call to actions in 3-4 places so once they are “sold” they can act.  Don’t position your CTAs only at the bottom of the page.
  4. Headlines are easy to change and make a big difference in conversion.
